Thank you to everyone who came out to TPC Scottsdale for the Greatest Show on Grass, the Waste Management Phoenix Open. With record attendance numbers, Thunderbirds Charities saw an unprecedented amount of support for their efforts in the community.  All week our booth was crowded with enthusiastic golf fans looking to shop for a cause! If you were unable to attend and would like to support Thunderbirds Charities, you can visit our showroom located at 15849 N. 77th St. #1 in Scottsdale, or call us at 480-483-0525 to purchase items that were on display at the Phoenix Open.

On the course, we saw the third straight year of the tournament extending to a playoff on the 18th.  This year, Arizona State University alum Chez Reavie and Gary Woodland battled it out for the title of 2018 Waste Management Phoenix Open Champion.  Woodland would eventually top Reavie, as the record setting weekend came to a close. In all, 719,179 people came through the gates to watch some golf, enjoy a cold beverage or two, and to support Thunderbirds Charities. This year’s attendance shattered 2017’s number by over 60,000, and only looks to expand in the future!

Sun Devils Club Charity of the Month

Charity Benefits Unlimited has been around for almost 10 years, and to date, through our fundraising programs we have raised over 4.7 million dollars for deserving charities, non-profits, and foundations. With 2 months left in 2017, our annual goal of reaching 4.75 million is in sight! Part of this push is our Charity of the Month program, where a portion of all direct sales will benefit an organization of our choosing. This month, we are pleased to announce that for the month of November our Charity of the Month is the Sun Devil Club

The Sun Devil Club, through the support of its members, is dedicated to providing resources that allow Sun Devil student-athletes the opportunity to thrive and grow not only during their time at Arizona State University, but afterwards as well. They host many events each year to raise money for these student-athletes, and we couldn’t be more excited to aid in their efforts! Charity of the Month: Thunderbirds Charities!

ThunderbirdsSpring event season is upon us, and our most successful event of 2016 has been the Waste Management Phoenix Open benefiting Thunderbirds Charities. We will continue our efforts in raising money for Thunderbirds, as they have been chosen to be our Charity of the Month. Throughout the month of March, 10% of in-house sales will directly benefit Thunderbirds Charities.

Recently awarded ‘Most Outstanding Foundation’, Thunderbirds Charities aim to assist children and families in need through the funds raised throughout the Phoenix Open. They have raised a total of $86 million dollars of countless for Arizona Charities.

“Thunderbirds Charities was established in 1986 as the charitable arm of the Phoenix Thunderbirds. The mission of Thunderbirds Charities is to assist children and families, help people in need and improve the quality of life in our communities.”

Charity of the Month: Power Paws!

Power Paws

It’s the most wonderful time of the year! For the month of December 10% of our in-house sales will directly benefit our Charity of the Month, Power Paws!

Founded in Scottsdale, Arizona by Shoshanna Abels, Power Paws is motivated to make life for children/adults with disabilities easier via highly skilled assistance dogs. They have been extremely successful since launch, and now have certified 100 teams and have 40 plus dogs in training.

“According to the 2000 US Census, over 25 million Americans are unable to walk 1/4 of a mile or even climb 10 stairs without some kind of assistance. At Power Paws, we believe that it is the right of every person to pursue the quality of life they want, and by providing skilled service dogs we can give back to our communities and their citizens. Power Paws, a nonprofit organization, is dedicated to empowering adults and children with disabilities for greater independence. We are able to do this through specialized programs.”

Charity of the Month: Arizona Humane Society!

AHS_LOGO_TM_-_STACKEDThrough the years, Charity Benefits Unlimited has raised over 3 million dollars for thousands of organizations, locally and nationally. We pride ourselves on raising money for charities through our Event Silent Auctions and Auctions in Auction. We also offer in-store sales, where 10% of all sales will directly benefit our Charity of the Month.

For the month of August, the Charity of the Month will be the Arizona Humane Society.

“The Arizona Humane Society was built on a foundation of compassion and kindness toward animals. As AHS evolves, it is focused on inspiring compassion in others through its appreciation of humanity and its reflection in animals… AHS makes every effort to model its own behavior on the accepting, gentle spirit of animals with the hope of compelling the community to act on their behalf”.

We couldn’t be any more thrilled to raise money for this extraordinary foundation!
